INSTANT WHEAT FINGER MILLET DOSA|INSTANT AATA RAGI DOSA

Vanakkam… Namaste..Hello… How are you all? Did you miss my posts guys? Here I come with a super quick and extremely nutritious recipe that needs just 20 minutes and two ingredients.You can serve this for all age group of family members from six months to any age group.You can make any variations with this recipe. Any millet flour(jowar or bajra or sorghum or any) can be used instead of ragi/finger millet flour and any rice flour can be used instead of wheat flour. While introducing this to babies ensure you have tried each of them individually and confirmed no allergy for each ingredient in your baby.

Ingredients for INSTANT WHEAT FINGER MILLET DOSA|INSTANT AATA RAGI DOSA:

  • Ragi flour-1/2 cup
  • Wheat Flour-1/2
  • Rice Flour-1/4 cup(Optional)
  • Water-As needed
  • Salt-To taste
  • Onion-1/4 cup(chopped)
  • Green chilly-1(Chopped)
  • Curd-1 tbsp
  • Oil-To cook

Procedure:

1.Mix ragi flour,wheat flour and rice flour together.

2.Add curd,water and mix it without lumps and make into a dosa batter consistency(Pouring)

3.Add salt ,onion and mix well.

4.Heat dosa tawa and grease dosa pan with oil.

5.Pour the batter using a small cup and spread on the dosa tawa.

6.Close it with a lid and cook(Optional).

7.Turn and cook the other side.

8.Serve it hot with chutney.

P.S:

You can add some sooji and let the batter set for 3 hours if you want a more crispy version

If the curd is slightly sour dosa will taste great.

Be careful when you add water. It shouldn’t be too flowing in nature.

Initially make dosa of small size and increase the size once you are comfortable in spreading and flipping sides

Skip green chilly for babies below one year.

Always have a word with your doctor before introducing any new food.

I have used home made ragi and wheat flour.You can use store bought flours too.

You can sprinkle oil if you want.

Serve it hot.
