Sweet Potato Paratha Recipe:
Hello guys! How are you doing? How were your Diwali celebrations? We had been to our native and back just now after a refreshing vacation. It was all fun with family and friends. We have started missing all and home already. I am sure many of you would share the same feeling after leaving home. Coming to today’s recipe it is one of the quickest paratha recipes I had made. Am I sounding silly? Maybe.I am not an expert in making parathas. I somehow miss the exact shape or fail at something. When compared to those earlier attempts of mine this came out better. It has now become one of our usual dinner options.
- Sweet Potato-2 (medium sized)
- Wheat Flour-1 cup
- Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
- Chilly Powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder-1/2 tsp
- Salt-As per taste
- Ghee/Oil-To cook
1.Pressure cook the sweet potatoes.Peel them and mash them after cooling down.
2.Add salt,turmeric powder,chilly powder,garam masala powder to the mashed sweet potatoes and mix well.
3.Now add the wheat flour and knead to smooth dough by adding water.
4.Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them to make roti/paratha.
5.Cook them on a dosa pan with oil/ghee .
6.Serve it warm with raita or pickle of your choice.
You can adjust the spices powder as per taste.
This can be offered for babies above 6 months.
Avoid salt for babies below one year.
