Broken Wheat Pineapple Kesari|Dalia Pineapple Halwa|Wheat Rava Kesari

Broken Wheat Pineapple Kesari or Pineapple Kesari or Wheat Rava Pineapple halwa is a very rich nutritious dessert/sweet .I made some replacements to the usual pineapple kesari made with white sugar/rava .I replaced them with healthy versions like palm sugar and wheat rava. It turned out super yummy and I didn’t even get enough quantity to click a picture. The dish was done some 2 years back and only now I dug my old drafts and brought it live as a post.

Ingredients:

  • Palm candy-1/2 cup
  • Pineapple-1/4 cup(chopped finely)
  • Ghee-To cook

My observations:

Use thin variety broken wheat.

Sieve palm sugar before use to avoid impurities .

You can alternatively pressure cook broken wheat and also make halwa.

This can be stored at room temperature for 3 days and for a week if refrigerated.

Be generous in adding ghee then and there to enhance taste and to ensure smooth stirring.

This can be offered to babies above one year.

Ensure to have introduced each ingredient well in advance and eliminate allergies before trying this.

Always have a word with your doctor before introducing any new food to your babies.
