Veg Seekh Kabab Recipe|Veg Kebab Recipe:

How have you been folks? It has been more than a month since I shared a recipe from my kitchen. The Veg Seekh Kabab was prepared on 19 th of January and I am here after 40 plus days sharing it with you. On that day, there was an ad which accidentally popped out on my timeline with many kebabs images. I thought I would give it a try. We enjoyed relishing this and it eventually became my son’s favourite.

There are different types of kebabs/Kababs and there are various methods to make them too. It is similar to cutlets as per the ingredients list (as per my taste buds). But I didn’t have bread crumbs with me to bind them and I didn’t want to use corn flour. With cutlets/patties I have tried RBG flour and powdered poha when I wanted to skip corn flour and bread crumbs. With that experience, I tweaked this kebabs and they were 100% success. I am sure your kids also will love them.

P.S:

You can add any set of vegetables to this.

Adding paneer is optional.

Adjust spices as per your taste.

The same can be flattened and cooked. You can oven bake them too.

You can grill them on a barbeque.

I used thick red poha. So soaked them for 5 minutes. The flat thin variety will need lesser time.

Soaking the poha for more time or in more water will make the kabab mixture soggy. Please ensure to drain all water.

If you find difficulty in gathering the mass and putting on a skewer, you can some bread crumbs for better binding.

This can be offered to babies above 6 months skipping salt & adjusting spices.

Have a word with your doctor before trying any new food to babies.

Ensure to have introduced all ingredients individually and eliminated allergies.
