String Hoppers/Idiyappam is an Indian version of noodles,to be precise south-Indian version of noodles. My boy loves it and he calls it as noodles and can have it even without side dish. This is one of the best breakfast foods I would say because it is steamed. It is an excellent choice for all ages from 6 months to 60 years.Mom makes it in the traditional way using the big uruli. You can find that process here .
