Kuzha Puttu is a very common breakfast dish from Kerala. It is a truly delectable and filling dish served with payaru curry or kadalai curry, nendran banana, sugar or jaggery and papad. You can make several varieties of puttu with different flours and serve with different combinations. As this Kuzha Puttu is made with tube-shaped maker it is called as “Kuzha/Kuzhal Puttu”.My aunt prepares this for me whenever I visit her. The below recipe is from her kitchen and I shot these 2 years ago. She has made it with matta rice flour. You can make the kuzha puttu with any rice flour/millet flour.I have given the details of how to prepare the flour at the end.
