My first post under the category of soups.I always begin with a soup when I visit restaurants and I prefer any creamy soups.My most favourite soup recipe is for your below.
- American sweet corn kernels-1/2 cup
- Corn flour-1/2 tsp
- Milk-1/2 cup
- Pepper-A pinch
- Italian Herbs-A pinch
- Chilly powder-A pinch
- Salt-To taste
1.Pressure cook sweet corn and separate the kernels.
2.Mash it well in a mixer jar.
3.In a pan heat some water and add the mashed corn mixture and blend it well without lumps.
4.Let it boil for 5 minutes.
5.In a cup add corn flour,milk and mix it well without lumps.
6.Add this to the boiling corn mixture and leave it for 3 minutes.
7.Add chilly powder,italian herbs,salt and pepper.
8.Serve it hot.
The original recipe does not include italian herbs and chilly powder.I added it for enhanced taste and flavour.
If you wish to thicken the soup add some more cornflour diluted in water and let it boil for sometime.
