Peanut Cookies Recipe

Whole wheat peanut cookies recipe

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat- 1 cup
  • Powdered jaggery- 1/2 cup(Can be replaced by sugar/palm sugar/palm jaggery)
  • Salt-A pinch
  • Crushed peanuts- 1/2 cup(Can be replaced with any nuts)
  • Vanilla essence- 1tsp(Can be skipped)
  • Butter- at room temperature -1/2 cup
  • Milk-1 tsp(Replace with water)

Procedure:

1. Whisk butter well.

2. Add powdered jaggery to this and whisk again.

3. Whisk them both together till it turns to pale brown.

4. Add one cup whole wheat flour into butter mixture.

5. Add 1 tsp Vanilla essence. Skip this if you don’t have.

6. Add salt and mix them gently. Just combine dry ingredients. Don’t over knead the dough. Be gentle with the dough

7. Now add crushed peanuts and combine them well

8. If the dough is dry just add 1tsp of milk (milk)and combine them well. You can add water too.

9. Cookie dough is ready

10. Now in a baking tray apply butter and place the flattened cookie with proper space in-between.

11. Now preheat the oven for 180° degree celsius for ten minutes and bake for 17 minutes at 180 degree celsius.

12. Now cool the cookie in the cooling rack
