Eggless Ragi Brownie Recipe:

How did you like the whole wheat brownie? Did you try it? It was a huge hit in the family and in my FB group. The next most wanted recipe was ragi brownie and here you go. My sister gave a try on new year eve with this and to our surprise, it came well. The sweetness was less but I have modified the ingredients for you and written the recipe

Eggless Ragi Brownie Recipe:

  • Ragi Flour-3 tbsp
  • Unsweetened Choco Powder-4 tbsp
  • Palm Sugar-4 tbsp(Powdered & sieved)
  • Baking Powder-1/4 tsp
  • Milk-4 tbsp
  • Melted Ghee-2 tbsp

  1. Measure all the ingredients and keep them ready.

  2. Add the dry ingredients and sieve for 5 to 8 times.

  1. Add milk and ghee and mix together (Do not beat).

  1. Grease the tray and pour the mixture.

  1. Bake it in the microwave oven in microwave mode for 3.5 minutes to 4 minutes. You can add some chocolate grated on top for extra chocolaty flavour.

  1. Cool it and then remove from the tray.

  1. Finger millet brownie is ready to enjoy.

Add milk and ghee little by little and mix.

Do not beat it.

You can add more sweetness as per your taste.

Microwave used: LG Intellowave MB397WB

Please do a toothpick test after 4 th minute in the microwave and 25 minutes in OTG.

If you use OTG preheat it for 10 minutes at 200 degrees C and bake for 30 – 35 minutes.

The brownie is crumbly in nature.

Please read through your oven manual before proceeding.

Dip the knife in hot water to slice the cake perfectly.

Sieving the dry ingredients is a major step which prevents disasters.

You can also top it with any nuts of your choice.

It stays good for 3 days at room temperature and 5 days in the refrigerator

Be generous in using butter to grease the pan.

This can be offered to babies above 1 year.
